Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Developer to design, develop, and support billing solutions for P&C insurance products. The role involves hands-on development, configuration, and integration of Guidewire BillingCenter with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and external financial systems, ensuring accurate billing, invoicing, payments, and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop solutions in Guidewire BillingCenter using Gosu and PCF
- Implement billing workflows including invoicing, payments, commissions, refunds, and delinquency
- Customize Billing Plans, Charges, Payment Methods, and Account Management
- Develop and maintain integrations with PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, General Ledger, and external payment systems
- Work on Batch processes, plugins, and event messaging
- Perform data migration and upgrades for BillingCenter versions
- Write unit tests and support SIT, UAT, and production deployments
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide performance optimization
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps teams
- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and financial controls
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 09 Years of IT Industry experience and 4 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter
- Strong knowledge of Gosu, PCF, and Guidewire Studio
- Experience with BillingCenter data model and batch framework
- P&C Insurance domain knowledge (billing, premium, receivables)
- Experience with Guidewire Integration Framework (Gosu APIs, Web Services, Messaging)
- Strong SQL skills (Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud (GWCP) is a plus
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
Preferred Skills
- Guidewire Certifications (BillingCenter Developer or Integration)
- Experience with Guidewire Digital Portals
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, Maven
- Exposure to payment gateways and financial systems
- Experience in Guidewire upgrades (v9 → v10)
