Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Fabric Architect & Developer to design, build, and implement a modern data fabric architecture for MSIG. The ideal candidate will enable seamless data integration, governance, and real-time data access across distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Data Fabric architecture for unified data access across multiple sources (cloud/on-prem).
- Develop scalable data pipelines and integration frameworks.
- Enable data virtualization, metadata management, and data governance.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and modern data tools.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data strategies.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and performance optimization.
- Implement real-time and batch data processing solutions.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Data Fabric / Data Mesh / Data Architecture
- Expertise in ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, etc.)
- Hands-on with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of data integration, APIs, microservices
- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop)
- Strong SQL, Python/Java/Scala skills
- Understanding of data governance, cataloging, and lineage tools
Good to Have:
- Experience in insurance/financial domain (preferred)
- Familiarity with DataOps, CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines
