Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and observation of symptoms to determine the root causes of musculoskeletal issues.
- Develop and implement customized care plans that incorporate techniques such as trigger point therapy, acute pain management strategies, and occupational health interventions.
- Perform manual adjustments and spinal manipulations to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
- Utilize medical imaging results and anatomy knowledge to inform treatment decisions.
- Monitor patient progress through ongoing observation, adjusting treatment protocols as needed to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients on physiology, injury prevention, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications for long-term health benefits.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in patient observation, physical examinations, and patient assessment within a chiropractic or primary care setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and the use of medical imaging tools relevant to musculoskeletal health.
- Hands-on expertise in trigger point therapy, pain management techniques, and acute pain management strategies.
- Familiarity with occupational health practices to support workplace injury prevention and recovery programs.
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs while effectively communicating complex concepts clearly.
- Prior experience working with diverse patient populations demonstrating excellent patient care skills.
