Responsibilities
- Safely operate your personal vehicle to pick up and deliver small parcels, packages, and documents within assigned service areas.
- Verify delivery information and obtain proof of delivery signatures when required.
- Load, transport, and unload packages while ensuring they remain secure and undamaged.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation.
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and business partners regarding delivery status, delays, or service issues.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Experience
- Previous courier, delivery driver, rideshare, or transportation experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience using smartphones, GPS navigation systems, and mobile applications.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must maintain state minimum personal automobile liability insurance coverage.
- Must own and operate a reliable vehicle, including a car, SUV, minivan, pickup truck, cargo van, or box truck.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and successfully pass a background check.
Compensation
Compensation is based on a per-package and/or per-stop payment structure, depending on assigned routes and delivery requirements. Independent contractors may earn up to $200 per day based on route availability, delivery volume, and operational needs.
Work Schedule
- Full-time opportunities available Monday through Friday.
- Weekend opportunities available Saturday and Sunday.
- Flexible scheduling based on route availability and operational needs.
