Title: S Material Operator Status: Hourly Non-Exempt

Plant and Department: Los Lunas, NM Special Products
Reports to: Special Products Supervisor
Purpose: To maintain S material production goals
Primary Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous work experience in the same or similar environment
Education:
High school or equivalent
Working Hours and Conditions:
Must lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to chest.
Maneuver (with assistance) 55 gal. drums with weight of up to 1000 lbs.
Ability to cope with frequent job and task changes during the normal 8 hour day.
Must be able to establish an effective working relationship with supervisors and fellow employees.
Must be able to work flexible work hours when needed and overtime when requested. Ability to understand written and oral instructions and math to calculate weights and
percentages.
Ability to write legibly.
Equipment used: Scales, computers, calculator, forklift, hand pallet jack, hand tools, vacuums, and others as assigned.
Dusts and fumes contain: Nickel, chrome, cobalt, copper, silicon and iron. Stress ranges from low to high depending on
production requirements.

- Maintains records logs, and other pertinent information for production schedules, quality control, traceability and inventory control
- Develop and improve the knowledge of manufacturing, cleaning, packaging, labeling of "S" Material, Cement-Gels, Nicro–gap alloys, and special blends in accordance with manufacturing/customer specifications for each product.
- Must adhere to OSHA Safety regulations
- Interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
- Attends required meetings
- Cross trains in other job related duties and positions
