Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections to ensure compliance with specified requirements at the receiving, in-process and final stages of processing
- Read instructions, drawings, specifications, or sample parts / gauges to determine compliance of dimensions and tolerances of finished work
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection on parts to confirm conformity to drawing and other routing instructions
- Ensure applicable documentation is complete, i.e., revision status, router sign off, test reports, and computer data entry
- Retrieve information: bills of material, specifications, procedures, and drawings from database
- Adhere to standards and procedures regarding traceability
- High School degree or equivalent is required
- Minimum 1-year of prior quality experience and/or training
- Advanced knowledge of precision measuring tools such as dial and vernier calipers, ID MICS, depth mics, and go/no-go gauges, etc.
- CMM experience is a bonus
