Inventory Cycle Counter

Walker SCM is looking for Inventory Cycle Counter for our operation in Plainfield, IN. We are looking for the right person who shares our philosophy of Operational Excellence on a daily basis. WIT Logistics, LLC primary objective is to deliver the right part, to the right place, at the right time.

Responsibilities

The Cycle Counter is responsible for ensuring the accuracy all Walker SCM supplier inventories by monthly cycle counts and timely discrepancy reconciliations.

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Follow the quality system and internal policies and procedures
• Follow procedures in all assigned areas
• Work together with the Operations Manager to ensure goals are met
• Perform emergency cycle counts when required
• Reconcile any inventory discrepancies found during the cycle count
• Notify Operations Manager of any discrepancies that cannot be reconciled
• Perform additional activities assigned by management
• Keep files updated and in order
• Notify management of any system errors
• Maintain clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Job Skills and Specifications

• Perform the required physical inventory required by supplier and contract
• Achieve customer satisfaction by providing error/defect free service
• Proper storage of all inventory count sheets and network inventory files

Skills / Key Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehousing preferred
• PIV operating license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English

Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment
• Exposure to dust
• Exposure to a variety of weather conditions (extreme heat, cold, etc.)
• Noise level can be very loud
• Requires continuous standing, lifting, bending, reaching and stooping throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English• Bi-lingual (Spanish) helpful but not required

Pay Range

Salary : $19 - $20
