Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys preparing fresh, homestyle meals in a fast-paced, friendly environment while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Cook food to order while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely service.
- Set up and stock workstations with necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food inventory and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Properly store, label, and rotate food using food safety guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Work closely with servers and other kitchen staff to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning equipment and preparing for the next shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking or food service experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
