Responsible to dish-up and assemble food for a specific area. Banquet hours of operation vary depending on the Events scheduled. Hiring Bonus $ for experienced Cooks paid in two increments - $500 after 500 hours worked and another $500 after 1000 hours worked. Essential Functions:
- Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency of product to the guest.
- Responsible for working with staff to cook, prepare, dish-up, and assemble food for all outlets.
- Adhere to control procedure for food costs and quantity.
- Responsible for maintaining food presentation, quantity, temperature, consistency, stirring food, cleanliness, and maintaining health department standards.
Required:
- Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions for measurements and recipe execution. Ability to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers using a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude with use of facial expressions.
- Has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
- Ability to perform a broad variety of tasks and deadlines with an irregular work schedule.
