Walker Rehabilitation Center is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the housekeeping department and laundry, ensuring efficient and effective operations
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping and laundry staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Schedule and assign tasks to housekeeping personnel, ensuring proper coverage and timely completion of duties
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities with overall operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of custodial and industrial cleaning techniques and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
