Role Description
We are seeking a Mine Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Fallon, Nevada. This role will work closely with operations and leadership to support mine planning, production efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support short- and long-range mine planning and production scheduling.
- Assist with mine design, sequencing, and operational planning.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Provide technical support to mining operations and leadership.
- Support drilling and blasting activities, as applicable.
- Prepare technical reports, maps, plans, and operational documentation.
- Monitor production performance against established plans and targets.
- Collaborate with Operations, Geology, Process, Safety, and other departments.
- Support continuous improvement in safety, productivity, efficiency, and cost performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of mine planning, design, and production operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with applicable mining software and technical tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and operational teams.
- Previous field experience in mining operations is highly desirable.
