What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Division Foreman position at Walker Excavation?
Walker excavation is looking for a heavy civil foreman to join our team. We are a large civil construction company working on primarily commercial developments installing roads, water, sewer, and storm utilities. We are seeking site foreman with heavy experience in road construction as well as custom house excavation working primarily in Bozeman but also in Big Sky and other areas close to Bozeman.
Essential Functions
1. Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
2. Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading and site safety.
3. Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
4. Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards.
5. Keep time and material records.
