Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Handyman/Laborer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across various projects. Responsibilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation, repair, or fabrication tasks.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
- Assist with construction site setup, cleanup, and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Install fixtures such as, but not limited to, doors, cabinets, glass panels, trim carpentry, and hardware.
- Support restoration projects by performing demolition, surface preparation, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying, and other related tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or skilled labor roles with knowledge of multiple trades including carpentry, roofing, masonry, or remodeling.
- Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools operation/
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring, fixture installation, drywall finishing, and concrete work.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required; valid certifications are a bonus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward completing tasks efficiently. Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
