What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Engineer position at Walker Elliott?
We are working with a growing private E&P group that is searching for a Production Engineer to optimize well performance and profitability. The successful candidate will collaborate with field operations, engineering teams, and vendors to enhance production operations, well interventions, and artificial lift systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and resolve production issues to maximize profitability.
- Optimize well systems and surface equipment for efficiency.
- Focus on improving artificial lift systems, especially plunger lifts.
- Design and justify workovers based on economic feasibility.
- Track LOE and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide technical support and conduct field visits as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 3 years of production engineering experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in data analysis
- Experience with Texas assets
