GIS / Geospatial Analyst - Upstream Energy
Walker Elliott is working with growing, high-performing upstream company looking to add a GIS professional to their team in the corporate office in MN (relocation available).
This is not a back-office mapping role - this position sits close to the business and directly supports acquisitions, asset strategy, and leadership decision-making. If you've been looking for a role that blends GIS data strategy - this is worth a conversation.

Responsibilities:
- Direct exposure to A&D activity and executive-level decisions
- Opportunity to work with modern data platforms (including Palantir Foundry)
- Lean team, high visibility, real ownership, and impact
- Strong collaboration with Land, Engineering, Geology, and BD teams
- Access to a growing tech-forward GIS ecosystem outside traditional O&G hubs:
- Own and manage geospatial data across a multi-basin portfolio
- Build mapping and analytics tools to support deal evaluation and development planning
- Develop automations around ownership and land data
Qualifications:
- 3 years GIS experience (ArcGIS / ESRI stack)
- Strong data management and spatial analysis skills
- Oil & gas exposure is a plus, not required
