Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Legal Assistant role based in Addison, TX. The Legal Assistant will support attorneys by preparing and organizing legal documents, managing case files, and maintaining accurate records. Daily responsibilities include drafting and formatting correspondence and pleadings, scheduling meetings and court dates, and coordinating with clients, courts, and other parties. The role also involves handling administrative tasks such as managing calendars, organizing electronic and physical files, and assisting with billing or time entry as needed. The Legal Assistant will work closely with the legal team to ensure timely, accurate support for ongoing matters and provide professional, responsive communication to clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Effective communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, court staff, and external partners.
- Experience in administrative assistance, including calendar management, file organization, and general office support.
- Prior experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role is appreciated but not mandatory.
- High level of attention to detail, organization, and time management in a fast-paced environment.
