Overview
We are seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented Assistant to help us coordinate a wide range of office and occasional light warehouse tasks. You will help ensure a seamless flow of paperwork that accompanies the distribution of materials across our supply chain, from making purchases through to delivery. You will also help with receiving, repackaging, and shipping as needed. Responsibilities
- Assist with quote requests, product specification, and sourcing activities
- Help track shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure on-time delivery of goods
- Assist with purchase orders, commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide a first level of customer service
- Accept deliveries, help repackage items, label, and schedule pickup for smaller orders
- Help across a wide range of activities and projects
Qualifications
- A positive, collaborative, problem-solving attitude
- Experience with Microsoft Office, and Excel in particular
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred
