Key Responsibilities:
Drilling Operations:
- Operate drilling rigs to drill water and geothermal wells at various sites.
- Perform site preparation, including clearing access roads, setting up equipment, and ensuring all safety measures are in place.
- Monitor and adjust drilling equipment and tools to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Maintain accurate drilling logs and records, including depth, soil types, and water flow readings.
- Collaborate with field crew and project managers to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects.
- Operate drilling rigs to drill water and geothermal wells at various sites.
Rig Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling rigs, including engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components.
- Inspect and replace worn or damaged parts and components to ensure the rig operates efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues that arise during operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure equipment is stored safely when not in use.

Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of proper PPE, safe drilling practices, and ensuring the safety of all personnel on the job site.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning drilling activities and environmental protection.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a water well or geothermal driller.
- Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of drilling rigs and equipment.
- Experience with both water or geothermal drilling.

Skills & Abilities:
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate and maintain drilling equipment, including rotary rigs, air rotary drills, and auger rigs.
- Knowledge of drilling procedures, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to work in remote locations and handle physically demanding tasks.
