- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales, gross, and CSI goals
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including desk deals, appraisals, and deal structure
- Actively manage CRM workflows, internet leads, and digital retail processes to ensure fast response times and high conversion rates
- Monitor and improve lead handling, follow-up processes, and appointment show rates
- Work closely with marketing, BDC, and finance teams to maximize opportunities
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and legal requirements
- Analyze sales performance, forecasts, and KPIs; adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain a strong showroom presence and lead by example with customers and staff
- Foster a positive, accountable, and high-energy sales culture
- Minimum of 2 years of automotive management experience (Sales Manager, Desk Manager, or similar role required)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and gross objectives
- Digital retail savvy with a strong understanding of online car buying tools
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and lead management (internet, phone, and showroom leads)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
