Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in automotive repair or maintenance, specifically in quick service or light repair roles.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification or equivalent.
- Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Familiarity with computerized diagnostic systems and repair software.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements efficiently and accurately.
- Diagnose minor vehicle issues and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to service advisors and customers.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper handling and disposal of automotive fluids and materials.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily service goals and contribute to a positive customer experience.
