Traveling Superintendent - Commercial Construction

The Position: We are currently looking for a Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent with ground up and/ or remodel experience.

Requirements:

• Substantial experience in ground up/remodel in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading.
• Ability to meet fast paced and dynamic schedules and deadlines.
• Excellent Communication, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different roles.
• Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them.
• Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore.
• Extensive travel is required.
• Must be willing to work nights.
• Walmart remodel experience desired.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Project Manager to schedule equipment and material deliveries.
• Coordinate, schedule, and oversee the work activities of subcontractors and laborers, communicating to and via project foreperson to deliver instructions and project assignments as appropriate.
• Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness.
• Obtains required permits, including scheduling inspections and meeting with inspectors on site.
• Addresses any safety violations or other deficiencies.
• Complete and turn in all project-related documentation to the project manager.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weather.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
