Customer Sales Associate

Walkabout Paddle & Apparel is looking for friendly and outgoing individual to join our sales team. We are looking for a full-time employee to work year-round. We are open 7 days a week from 9am - 5pm. Candidate must be able to work weekends. A minimum of one weekend day per week is required. Pay is based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure each customer receives outstanding service
• Greeting customers as they enter the store
• Approaching customers, answering questions, assisting them through the sales process and promoting product sales
• Handle any customer issues that may arise
• Accurately and efficiently use the point of sale program for merchandise purchases and returns as well as maintain all cash at the register
• Restocking of inventory
• Merchandising
• Cleaning

Job Qualifications:

• A commitment to service and customer satisfaction
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time
• Detail oriented, multi-tasker, and organized
• Prior retail experience is preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
