ROLE SUMMARY
A leading organization in the multicultural beauty and personal care industry is seeking a strategic and consumer-focused Marketing Director to drive brand growth, innovation, and execution across its product portfolio.
This role will lead the development of integrated marketing strategies, oversee product innovation pipelines, and strengthen brand equity across diverse and underserved consumer segments. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in beauty/personal care and a strong track record of delivering measurable growth.
This is a critical leadership role intended to build on an established brand foundation while driving the next phase of growth and transformation.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Product Development: Drive new and existing product initiatives focused on innovation, expansion, diversification, and gap analysis.
- Commercialization Planning: Oversee ideation, business processes, and stakeholder alignment to successfully bring brands to market.
- Brand Activities & Communication: Collaborate with social, education, and commercialization teams to execute strategies that enhance consumer trial, brand awareness, and engagement across channels.
- P&L Management
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development and execution of brand strategies for new and existing products, including assortment, innovation, pricing, communication, and promotions.
- Guide and manage day-to-day activities of team members, ensuring KPIs and objectives are consistently met.
- Partner closely with the Sales team by providing tools, marketing materials, and programs to support commercial goals.
- Deliver monthly performance analysis covering sales, promotions, competitive landscape, and consumer trends.
- Regularly review category and product performance; identify new opportunities, product gaps, and market trends.
- Monitor COG analysis, pricing strategies, and SKU management across the product portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Packaging, Creative, and Consumer Marketing to launch new initiatives.
- Ensure timelines and cost objectives are met for product launches, seasonal programs, and marketing collateral.
- Work with creative teams to ensure high-quality execution of packaging, promotions, and marketing materials.
- Develop and manage product development schedules with strong internal alignment.
- Stay updated on global innovations, consumer insights, and competitor activity.
Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and develop team members, setting clear expectations for performance and accountability.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on continuous learning and execution excellence.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Brand Management, Communications, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in Beauty or CPG industry preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience in cost and margin analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
