Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling their vehicles efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Operate cash registers accurately, handle cash transactions, and process payments with professionalism.
• Conduct product demos for convenience store items, snacks, beverages, and promotional products to enhance sales.
• Upsell items by recommending complementary products and special offers to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store is clean and inviting.
• Manage inventory by stocking supplies, conducting regular stock checks, and assisting with product replenishment.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, guiding shoppers through store layouts, and addressing concerns promptly.
• Follow phone etiquette standards when taking orders or assisting customers over the phone to ensure clear communication.
• Assist with supervising team members when needed, supporting a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions.
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for managing cash registers, giving correct change, and performing retail math calculations.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette.
• Experience in merchandising, stocking, or product demos is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
