Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, product inquiries, and store needs
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions and cash handling with accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and fuel area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products
- Conduct product demos when applicable, highlighting features to encourage sales and upselling opportunities
- Manage cash drawer handling responsibly, ensuring proper cash register operations and balancing at shift end
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when taking orders or answering customer questions over the phone
- Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies, monitoring product levels, and participating in stock audits
- Promote store specials and upsell items to maximize sales while delivering outstanding customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for team support roles
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash drawers
