Waldron Varsity Baseball Coach

Waldron Junior-Senior High School is seeking a varsity baseball coach for the 2025 season.

Position Available:         Head Varsity Baseball Coach

Position Description:

~Responsible for all high school baseball practices, games, camps, etc.

~Conduct structured in-season & out-of-season programs for all levels (grades 5-

12) here at Waldron.

            ~Help to support & promote growth in all levels of the baseball program.

            ~Hire, administrate, & evaluate all volleyball staff (as needed).

            ~Expected to follow all IHSAA, Shelby Eastern Schools, & Waldron Jr./Sr. High

School Code of Ethics.

Position Qualifications:

            ~Successful Varsity/JV Coaching Experience preferred, but not required.

            ~Excellent communication & organizational skills.

            ~Lead young student-athletes, coaches, parents, & volunteers in the program &

in the athletic department.

~Be a part of the & work within the athletic department and school team – work

within the team & be coachable as part of this cohesive group.

            ~CPR Certification is preferred but not required.

            ~Successful completion of the NFHS required courses per the IHSAA is required.

            ~Be role model of the program and of the Waldron community.
