Summary
Waldorf Women's Care (WWC), a thriving gynecology practice serving the DC metro area, is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. You'll work collaboratively with our physicians to provide comprehensive gynecological care to a diverse patient population in a supportive and modern environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive well-woman exams and gynecological assessments
- Diagnose and manage common gynecological conditions
- Prescribe medications and therapies
- Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests
- Assist and perform minor procedures
- Provide patient education and counseling on preventative care, family planning, and women's health issues
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications
- Education:
- PA: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NP: Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in Women's Health or related field
- Licensure & Certification:
- Current and unrestricted license as a PA or NP in Maryland and Virginia (or eligibility for licensure)
- National certification as a PA-C or relevant NP certification
- Experience:
- Prior experience in women's health or gynecology is preferred but not required
- Skills:
- Excellent clinical skills
