What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Retail Manager position at WALDORF COLLEGE?
Waldorf University is seeking a Full time Dining Retail Manager. Reports to the Assistant Director and Director of Dining. Position is primarily academic year based. Shift expectation
during the academic year: 6:00AM-2:00PM M-F, weekly store set up Sunday afternoons, and or Weekends as needed. Potential reassignment during breaks and possible employment opportunities during summer months.
Ideal candidates will be motivated and eager to work and appreciate the service industry and will have the ability to motivate student workers. Will need to be flexible in both schedules and working with a variety of people.
Job responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Warrior Crossing (On-site dining retail location)
- Hire and train 12-15 Student workers and manage their timesheets for payroll
- Communicate with vendors and weekly ordering of products
- Perform inventory counts at the end of each semester
- Manage on-campus vending machines

- Operational management
- Basic computer skills (managing files, operating systems, use of common applications)
- Leadership and Management skills
- Problem solving and decision making
- Experience preferred, however will train
- Efficient and safe work habits observing sanitation and proper food service rules and regulations. Food service and SERV Safe certification preferred
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted with or without reasonable accommodations

Salary : $40,000 - $60,000
