Your essential functions in this role include such things as:
- To organize, plan, and prioritize your duties by developing plans and goals.
- Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person.
- Handling phone calls, emails, customer inquiries and greeting clients for Catering and Events in a professional, courteous manner.
- Inputting programs in booking systems, managing VIP guest arrangements, and coordinating as well as conducting site visits.
- Creating and communicating documents, including but not limited to BEOs, resumes, post-event reports, menus, diagrams/floor plans, and ordering office supplies.
- Working with affiliate groups and other departments.
- Assist with customer requests and deliver on the corresponding expectations
- Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes. “i.e, Social Tables, Salesforce
- Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand the guest needs.
- Other duties as necessary based on business needs

What are we looking for?
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality, Event Management or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in event planning, catering or hospitality in Luxury Hospitality
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of the hotel property management systems (Delphi.fdc)
- Relevant degree, in business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution (CMP, CPCE)
