Duties

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, and weed control to keep lawns healthy and vibrant
• Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and garden areas through pruning, trimming, planting, and mulching
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like planting, edging, digging, and installing landscape features
• Use construction equipment such as excavators for larger projects involving grading or hardscape installation
• Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Construct hardscape elements including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures using appropriate materials
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety
• Perform seasonal tasks such as snow plowing to maintain accessibility during winter months
• Assist with landscaping projects by preparing sites, laying out designs, and ensuring quality standards are met
• Maintain equipment through routine inspections and repairs to ensure safety and efficiency in all tasks

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping or related construction fields with a strong understanding of horticulture principles
• Mechanical knowledge related to operating lawn mowers, snow plows, excavators, and other landscaping machinery
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques including fertilization, aeration, pest control, and mowing practices
• Skilled in landscape maintenance including pruning, planting, mulching, and garden bed preparation
• Ability to use hand tools (shovels, pruners), power tools (trimmers, blowers), and construction equipment safely and effectively
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance is a plus
• Experience with tree care activities such as trimming or removal is desirable
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail; ability to follow safety protocols at all times
• Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.98 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
