Role Description
Waldensian Presbyterian Church is seeking a dedicated and passionate Director of Children, Youth, and Adult Christian Education. This is a full-time position responsible for developing, managing, and leading programs dedicated to the spiritual growth and education of children, youth, and adult members of the church. Responsibilities include designing and overseeing faith-based activities, coordinating youth and adult programs and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for spiritual development. The Director will also collaborate with church leadership to align educational programs with the mission of the church. Key responsibilities include curriculum selection, volunteer coordination, event planning and fostering a vibrant learning environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in youth programs, youth development, and working with children and adults in Christian education settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Four year or advanced college degree, preferably in the education field.
- A commitment to Christian faith and education
