Job Requirements:
- Over 18 years of age, and can pass a background check to work with children
- Experience working in a professional setting
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new computer systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including email and phone etiquette)
- Ability to empathetically oversee our Office Assistant, providing support as needed or requested

A Day (Week, and Month) in the Life of Our Office Manager:
Daily, the Office Manager will:
- Process mail, packages, and deliveries
- Ensure that all front office tasks are completed (attendance, visitors, voicemails, etc.)
- Assist teachers with reasonable requests
- Ensure office and faculty lounge supplies are ordered and fully stocked
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the Art Corner, Lost & Found, and all school common areas
- Provide exceptional and kind service to visitors, parents, and community members
- Build and maintain relationships with faculty, staff, and students, while maintaining professional boundaries
- Encourage students to go to class, ensuring that students are not loitering in common areas or restrooms
- Support requests from executive administrative team
Weekly, the Office Manager will:
- Run reports through the Student Information System
- Administer and track medication
- Create accounts and change passwords for students and parents
- Manage all front office finances, including transactions and tracking
- Create and send out weekly newsletter and mass communication
- Post on school social media accounts
Monthly, the Office Manager may:
- Assist substitute teachers
- Coordinate field trip drivers and background checks
- Track school vehicle reservations and defensive driving certifications
- Maintain school chromebook inventory
- Upkeep the front office handbook, faculty resource website, and front office helpdesk website
- Manage front office tasks related to student registration, transfers, and file management
- Order catering, birthday donuts, and other event supplies
- Complete seasonal projects (such as food drives, service projects, etc.)
Timeline:
We are seeking a candidate that can fully begin this position on January 5th. If available, we would love to begin training before then.
Hours:
This is a part-time position, working no more than 29 hours per week. The Office Manager will work within school hours, M-TH 8:00 am-3:30 pm, and Friday 8:00 am-1:00 pm.
Exact M-TH hours may be negotiated, but the Office Manager must be available to work Friday hours (8:00 am-1:00 pm).
