Food and Beverage Assistant

Walden Country Club is seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistant to support the daily operations of our clubhouse and seasonal pool facilities. This is a hands-on position that combines hospitality, event coordination, marketing, and operational support. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys interacting with members and guests, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the daily management and operation of the pool and food & beverage services.
• Coordinate and execute club events, banquets, and member activities from planning through completion.
• Provide bartending services for clubhouse, pool, and private events as needed.
• Coordinate catering details and ensure successful event execution.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with members, guests, vendors, and event clients.
• Follow up with prospective and booked event clients to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
• Assist with marketing efforts, including social media, email communications, event promotions, and member engagement.
• Order food, beverage, and operational supplies while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage Director and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and customer service throughout all food and beverage areas.
• Assist with staff support and other operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurants, catering, country clubs, or event management preferred.
• Bartending experience or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience with social media and marketing is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and seasonal events.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
