About the Position
We’re seeking a personable, energetic, and proactive Optometrist with strong clinical and communication skills (preferred at least 1 years experience). This role allows you to practice medical optometry on your terms, with dedicated time and resources for continuing education and professional growth.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye exams
- Diagnose and manage ocular disease and dry eye conditions
- Prescribe corrective lenses and specialty contact lenses
- Provide pre- and post-operative care
- Counsel patients on eye health and preventive care
- Maintain accurate, efficient electronic health records
- Handle urgent eye care needs
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
- Active California state license
- 1 years of experience (or residency-trained new graduate)
- Proficiency in contact lenses and medical optometry
- Bonus: experience with dry eye treatment or specialty contact lenses
