Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented LTC Pharmacy Technician to join our Long-Term Care Pharmacy team. This role is essential to supporting high-quality patient care by ensuring accurate medication preparation, exceptional customer service, and efficient pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate is motivated, dependable, and committed to maintaining excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence
- Provide professional, courteous service by greeting customers politely and listening attentively.
- Address and support all customer needs related to LTC pharmacy services.
- Assist with all aspects of the prescription filling process, including:
- Preparing daily medication orders
- Processing weekly cycle orders
- Operating Parata equipment as required
- Completing monthly cycle fills
Inventory & Workflow Management
- Assist with daily inventory functions, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining supplies.
- Manage start- and end-of-day processes:
- Emptying totes from prior deliveries
- Scanning delivery manifests when needed
- Toting medications for scheduled deliveries
- Verifying delivery accuracy prior to dispatch
Operational Support
- Accept and complete responsibilities delegated by the Pharmacist.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work efficiently with limited supervision.
- Collaborate with team members to support a cohesive and effective workflow.
- Maintain a commitment to accuracy, quality, and operational excellence.
Pharmacy Maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including:
- Shelves, counters, workstations
- Robotics equipment (where applicable)
- Floors and general work areas
- Support ongoing inventory maintenance:
- Managing outdates and overstock
- Completing daily orders
- Relocating slow-moving or expired inventory
- Oversee proper storage and supplies, such as:
- Filing prescriptions accurately
- Stocking vials, caps, bottles, and related supplies
- Ensuring availability of labels, paper products, register tape, and cleaning materials
Scheduling & Availability
- Provide flexibility with work hours, including willingness to work evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 24.0 per week
