The Position
- Lead a tight-knit crew to keep things moving safely and efficiently:
- Manage production, schedules, and daily operations
- Operate and oversee crushers, screens, loaders, trucks, and mobile equipment
- Handle maintenance needs, coordinate repairs, and keep equipment up to spec
- Enforce safety practices and work site standards
- Communicate clearly with crew, managers, and contractors
- Pitch in when needed - welding, inspections, cleanup, you name it
- Solid experience in mining operations (foreman or lead role preferred)
- Good with communication and coordinating crews
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to join the union if you're not already a member
- Comfortable with early mornings, outdoor work, and changing conditions
- A strong work ethic and a knack for problem-solving
