What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier & Front End Services position at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.?
As a Walmart Associate, you play a vital role in creating a positive experience for our customers. You are often the first point of contact and may be the only associate a customer interacts with during their visit. This makes it essential to greet every customer with a smile and thank them for their business.
The pace of work can be fast-paced, especially during peak hours and holidays. You will need to multitask and prioritize tasks while providing excellent customer service. This includes scanning items, explaining prices, bagging groceries, counting back change, and maintaining a clean store environment.
We offer competitive pay and performance-based incentives to recognize your hard work. Our benefits include medical, vision, and dental coverage, as well as 401(k), stock purchase, and company-paid life insurance. Paid time off benefits include parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting.
You will also receive paid time off (PTO) and/or paid personal time off (PPTO) that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount of PTO and/or PPTO you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment.
We invest in our associates' education and career development through Better U, a Walmart-paid education benefit program. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
