What you'll do... Position: Manager, Business Analysis and Insights Location: 10500 NE 8th Street, 13th Floor, Bellevue, WA 98004 Duties: Lead the exploration and understanding of the market, competition, and business performance of Channel Partners by building reporting in data tools. Create advanced and complex SQL queries in Presto (Data Discovery) and BigQuery to analyze and manage 10 trillion data including account, items, and orders level data that impacts 2 billion revenue streams on Walmart Marketplace. Use Trino SQL Driver to connect databases with data visualization tools and automate the reporting process. Use Data Visualization tools in Tableau and Salesforce to visualize historical trends and actual results of seller and channel partnership acquisition, business revenue, conversions, and GMV forecasting. Build out dashboards to show seller GMV and help account managers provide thorough and detailed information with partners quarterly. Execute marketing effectiveness analysis to the understand top order items per category and the top search term on Walmart Marketplace. Support channel partners to develop better functionalities for their sellers. Execute statistical analysis in SQL and Excel to analyze key solution providers GMV performance as well as other factors that have correlations with advertising spend on Walmart Connect. Build out API connection matrix reports to reflect solution providers’ actual API calls and share the results with account managers for API expansions and with Product Teams for APP store launch. Initiate and build out standard process to manage data requests from stakeholders in FeedbackAlly. Analyze and ensure the accuracy of statistical information by creating, maintaining, and evaluating data, and understanding Walmart's data source and the mechanisms of Walmart’s data generation of existing reports to minimize the data discrepancies in reporting structures and take corrective actions. Organize sales and performance data in a uniform manner and build a consistent and accurate strategy for the team's use of data-driven insights, both in reporting structure and dashboards. Act as an analytical expert with Channel Partner on the application of best practices for usings and speaking to and leveraging data via reporting and dashboards in collaboration with the Analytics and Business Development and Sales Operation teams. Serve the team in growing business and that of Channel Partner with Walmart by driving ongoing analytical needs, providing data-based insights for issue resolution and strategy for growth, and supporting the team in how they analyze, understand, and action their ownership of strategic Channel Partner business development or the account management of Channel Partner portfolio. This position does not supervise employees. Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field and 1 year of experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area. Skills required: Experience coding in database programming languages: Data Presto, Big Query, and MySQL. Experience utilizing data visualization and dashboard tools: PowerBI, Microsoft (MS) Excel, and Salesforce. Experience executing ad-hoc analysis using Microsoft (MS) Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables. Experience with cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Experience presenting insights to leadership and identifying the next initiatives based on data. Experience reporting automations in SQL Driver, including SQL Server. Experience executing marketing effort analysis in MySQL and Microsoft (MS) Excel. Experience executing statistical analysis for correlational factors. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range: $129,709/year to $186,000. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
