What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead, Emergency Communications position at WakeMed Health & Hospitals?
Overview: Responsible for working in collaboration with the Emergency Communications Manager to coordinate and delegate the responsibilities of the team. Participates in disaster recovery preparation. Maintains and updates several reference logs in the Communications Center. Coordinates training efforts for new hires and the continuing education of existing telecommunicators. Maintains scheduling and time off requests of the telecommunicators. Assists the leadership team with the creation and maintenance of policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned. Collaborates with internal departments, stakeholders, and external parties to ensure well-coordinated and high-quality telecommunications efforts from the Emergency Communications staff.
