Recruitment and Retention Coordinator/Instructional Coach
The Recruitment and Retention Coordinator/Instructional Coach plays a vital role in ensuring the district attracts, retains, supports, and develops high-quality educators and staff. This position is responsible for overseeing new staff orientation week, coordinating the district’s induction and mentoring program, collaborating with local colleges for student teaching placements and recruitment efforts, working closely with community partners to strengthen recruitment initiatives, contributing to the district’s marketing efforts, and actively promoting a positive district climate and culture.
In the role of Instructional Coach, the coordinator provides job-embedded professional support to teachers, promotes effective instructional practices, assists with curriculum implementation, analyzes student achievement data, facilitates professional learning opportunities, and works collaboratively with educators to improve student outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for education, and the ability to strategically recruit, retain, support, and develop staff while fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment.
EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in, education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience in education administration is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including educators, administrators, college representatives, and community partners.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
- Knowledge of education policies, teacher certification requirements, and relevant regulations.
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
