FUNCTION: AIDS IN THE PROCESSING OF MERCHANDISE. ACTS IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER THUS CREATING A PLEASANT ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL TO WORK.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check merchandise against purchase orders and packing slips for the correct style number and quantity received.
- Sort merchandise shipped by style, color, and size; splits between stores.
- Circle quantities received for each store, date, and initial purchase order.
- Tag merchandise with correct ALUs, date, classification, and retail price.
- Prepares paperwork to be sent to the stores with merchandise. Always keeps a duplicate for reference.
- Repack merchandise neatly for delivery to stores.
- Log a daily report and turn it into the Tagging Supervisor.
- Standing long periods of time
- Lifting over 50 LBS
