FUNCTION: Insure the proper movement of merchandise and shipments in and out of the Distribution Center with instruction from Distribution Center Management.
REPORTABILITY: Distribution Center Manager and Traffic Supervisor
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Unload all freight and UPS, pulls packing slips, and separates purchase orders.
- Move shipment to individual taggers for processing.
- Move merchandise that has been sorted and tagged from the work stations to the assigned store bay for loading.
- Aid in the care and condition of all machinery and equipment assigned to the Distribution Center.
- Keep the Distribution Center floor clear of clutter, i.e. pallets, boxes.
- Keep incoming freight lines organized.
- Notify Supervisor/Manager of freight vendor errors and chargebacks.
