About You
The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing brand strategies, marketing campaigns, and communications for one or more Wakefern’s retail banners. Each Brand Manager oversees a dedicated paid media budget, leads a creative team, and manages member marketing coordinators and marketing channel specialists. This ensures the unique identity and objectives of each assigned banner are reflected in all marketing activities, and that content is optimized for each channel (print, digital, social, email, direct mail, etc.) to maximize impact and ROI.
Essential Functions
- Lead the development and execution of brand strategies and marketing plans for assigned banner(s), ensuring alignment with banner objectives and corporate goals.
- Manage day-to-day brand marketing activities, including social media, promotional content, and omnichannel campaigns.
- Oversee a dedicated paid media budget for assigned banner(s), optimizing spend for maximum impact and ROI.
- Lead a creative team to deliver high-quality, innovative campaigns tailored to each banner’s audience.
- Manage member marketing coordinators, ensuring efficient media spend and effective execution of member-specific programs across zones.
- Supervise marketing channel specialists, ensuring content is optimized for each channel (print, digital, social, email, direct mail, etc.).
- Collaborate with creative, digital, and promotional teams to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns.
- Monitor brand performance metrics (e.g., sales, market share, customer engagement) and adjust plans to capitalize on opportunities or address challenges.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance with guidelines across all touchpoints.
- Serve as the primary brand advocate for assigned banner(s), representing their interests in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 7 years of experience in brand management, marketing operations, or advertising production.
- Experience managing agency relationships and complex production timelines.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Ability to monitor computer screens for long periods of time
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with a current requirement of 4 days in person, as established by the division
- Ability to flex hybrid schedule to attend important meetings and vendor or store visits based on business needs
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position is $100,000-$150,000 annually. Placement in the salary depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations.
