Position Description
The Student Intern position is a Work-Based Learning (WBL) course which provides students an opportunity to work on campus with faculty or staff to gain experience in their field of study. The experience will blend what they have learned in the classroom with practical work experience.

Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions)
Responsibilities and duties vary based on the assignment for the Work-Based Learning experience. Official job description will be provided through Handshake or by the Work-Based Learning Office.
Possible duties include:
Monitoring labs
Digitizing and uploading video footage
Answering telephones
Taking messages and returning calls
Collecting and distributing mail
Providing assistance to students

Supplemental Information
Work experience may require knowledge of certain skills (good math aptitude, critical thinking, computer knowledge), coursework completion, GPA requirements, and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
