Residential Care Nurse Supervisor (RN)

Position Summary:

Wake Robin is seeking a compassionate, organized, and clinically skilled Residential Care Nurse Supervisor (RN) to provide nursing leadership and person-centered care in our Residential Care neighborhood. This role combines hands-on resident care with clinical oversight, partnering with residents, families, physicians, and team members to ensure each resident receives exceptional, individualized support while maintaining the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

Our 41-home Residential Care neighborhood supports residents who value their independence while benefiting from nursing oversight, medication management, and assistance with personal care. Residents enjoy the privacy of their own homes within a vibrant community, with care tailored to their unique needs, preferences, and goals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys building meaningful relationships, exercising clinical judgment, and leading with compassion in a collaborative, resident-focused environment dedicated to helping older adults live with dignity, independence, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical & Administrative Duties

  • Delivery and oversight of excellent nursing care to residents.
  • Development and implementation of service plans.
  • Completion of required State assessments and reports and compliance with State regulations.
  • Medication delegation to Certified Resident Care Assistants (CRCA).
  • Responsible for medication management (stock, ordering, organization of medication servers and supply room).
  • Oversee daily workflows for all shifts.

Resident Admissions & Transitions

  • Complete pre-admission evaluations.
  • Work with providers and interdisciplinary team to coordinate admissions and transitions of level of care.

Resident & Family Support

  • Serve as a key point of contact for residents and families via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

Staff Support & Coordination

  • Support onboarding, training, and supervision of CRCAs.
  • Act as liaison with the Wellness Clinic team (MDs, DNP, RN, Medical Assistant).
  • Support scheduling of resident medical appointments with external providers.

Meetings & Collaboration

  • Attend and participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, Care Conferences, and Resident Council meetings to ensure consistent communication and follow-through on care plans and resident needs.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Meaningful experience in long-term care, demonstrating a clear interest in furthering a career in this setting
  • Shows initiative and curiosity, with a genuine desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a resident-centered community in a leadership role
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to build positive working relationships
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively

Schedule:

  • Primarily Monday through Friday, 6:45 am – 4 pm with flexibility to come in early or stay later as needed

Salary:

  • $92,000 – $115,000 annually
