Diagnostic Technologist (ARRT) – Full-Time
Wake Radiology UNC REX is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Diagnostic Technologist to join our team at our West Raleigh and our Panther Creek offices. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopy procedures while providing an exceptional patient experience. What You'll Do
- Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopy procedures following established protocols.
- Prepare patients by explaining procedures, reviewing medical history, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam.
- Position patients accurately to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Review images for quality and prepare them for radiologist interpretation.
- Assist radiologists during procedures and patient consultations as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the imaging system.
- Follow all radiation safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.
- Perform routine equipment quality control and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to provide exceptional patient care.
- Assist with training new technologists and support other Wake Radiology UNC REX locations as needed.

Qualifications
- Associate degree (or equivalent two-year program) in Radiologic Technology.
- Current ARRT certification and registration.
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Completion of OSHA training as required by the employer.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and radiographic principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and team members.
