The is a part-time position, 32 hours per week, on call after hours and weekends.
Seeking an energetic, trustworthy, hardworking individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in New Bern, NC. The right individual must be able to stand, bend, walk, climb stairs/ladders of any length, reach, pull, push and lift at least 75 lbs. or more..
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee inspections, repair and maintenance of all apartments and buildings, common areas, facilities, grounds and equipment related to the property to ensure all health and safety concerns are addressed in order to provide residents and colleagues with a safe, sanitary living and working environment.
Ideal candidate must have a valid driver's license and transportation. Must have at least 1 to 2 years experience in building maintenance or related work field with knowledge of plumbing, painting, electrical, and general repair with the ability to bring his or her own tools. A trailer or vehicle capable of hauling appliances, etc. and HVAC experience would be great. The ability to be on-call after hours and weekends is required.
A credit/background report will be performed prior to receiving an offer letter. Must be able to pass drug testing at any time it is required.
Must have valid Driver's licenses and Transportation.
