Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Manage the company's cash flow, including monitoring accounts receivable and payable, and making recommendations for improvements
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports to senior management and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate and timely project cost tracking and reporting
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives
- Manage the company's tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Oversee the preparation and submission of all required financial filings and reports
- Lead and develop a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to support their growth and development
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies in financial processes and systems
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation is preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar financial management role, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Knowledge of construction accounting software, such as Sage 300 and Procore
Salary : $145,000 - $160,000
