Position Summary
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression, providing exceptional guest service, and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience from check-in through check-out.
The ideal candidate is dependable, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities- Welcome and greet guests in a warm, professional manner.
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
- Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, and general inquiries.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, dining, and transportation.
- Respond to guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Maintain accurate guest records and follow hotel policies and procedures.
- Answer and direct phone calls and respond to guest communications.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Monitor room availability and communicate any changes or special requests to the appropriate departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
- Follow all safety, security, and guest privacy procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred.
- Bilingual English/Japanese preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, friendly, and positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Comfortable using computers and learning hotel reservation/front desk systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and various shifts as needed.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding guest service.
- Must be able to stand and remain on your feet for up to 8 hours during a shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with working at a hotel front desk.
