JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Facilities Director, this position shall be responsible for performing repair and maintenance tasks on a wide range of building systems and equipment such as HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, exterior/ interior finishes and hardware. A basic understanding of building systems and general maintenance practices as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required. Must be available 24/7 for emergency response to building related issues.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required
- Technical or vocational training certificate or degree in related field preferred
- Minimum 4 years of experience in building maintenance, construction, or MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) related field required
- Any similar combination of education and experience may be considered
- A valid Driver’s License and daily access to an automobile required
